Storage Guidelines
Please follow these storage recommendations unless your pharmacy label or provider instructions say otherwise:
Keep refrigerated between 36–46°F (2–8°C)
Do not freeze the medication
Keep away from direct heat and sunlight
Store upright when possible
Keep medication in a safe, clean location away from children and pets
Traveling With Your Medication
If traveling:
Use an insulated travel bag or cooler
Include cold packs when appropriate
Avoid leaving medication in hot cars or direct sunlight
Keep medication protected from extreme temperatures during transit
After Preparing a Dose
If medication has already been drawn into a syringe:
Use it promptly according to pharmacy or provider instructions
Avoid storing prefilled syringes unless specifically instructed by your provider or pharmacy
Important Information
If your medication was accidentally:
Frozen
Left in extreme heat
Stored improperly for an extended period
